Character Development Starts Tomorrow!

Our Small Group is taking a bit of a break for awhile.....sort of. Portico is beginning a series of classes called Character Development and these will take the place of our Small Group for the time being. They will be held at the church building and start at 6:3o. The first class kicks off tomorrow the 14th. Here are Pastor Eric's words describing this class series: "In his letter to the Colossians, Paul wrote that with all the energy given to him, he struggled and labored to "present every person mature, or complete, in Christ." This requires an in-depth examination of your life to this point from a biblical perspective, developing a deeper, more mature understanding of how God designed you, and discovering how sin impacts your style of relating to others. This class is designed for those who are growing followers of Christ with a solid foundation of discipleship basics. You should have a deep desire to grow in becoming more like Christ, and be willing to apply what you learn to your own issues, circumstances and struggles. You must be willing to go in-depth with your heart issues in a small group format, and be open to receiving feedback and challenge from others."
